KCA publishes groundbreaking research
A team of KCA researchers have published a report addressing how use of ultrasound can identify the damage to opioid users caused by femoral vein puncture. The findings of this research offer a unique opportunity for medical staff to meaningfully engage with, and support groin-injecting opioid users. The new IDAS Wandsworth service starts!
IDAS (Integrated Drug and Alcohol Service) Wandsworth opened its doors in the borough on 1st December. The new service, founded on a vision of easy access to personalised treatment, will address a range of needs relating to drug and alcohol treatment and will offer meaningful activities to support lasting recovery in the community.
