- Psychological Therapy services (based in GP surgeries)
- Training, Consultancy and Workforce Development services
KCA has a history of providing innovative services tailored to meet the needs of the community, including
- Working with Substance Misusing Parents and their Children
- Targeting young people who are vulnerable to substance misuse before problems develop
- Addressing the wider needs of the individual by providing advice on housing, education, training and employment
- Developing enhanced arrest referral services to ensure that those committing drug-related crime are identified early and guided into treatment through the Drug Intervention Programme
- Providing enhanced early intervention to substance misusers at risk of thrombolysis and liver disease
- Action research to improve the evidence base for the sector
- Mainstreaming service user involvement in recruitment, policy development and service quality assurance
- Developing specialist prescribing services outside the framework of the NHS
