Horizon

KCA offers comprehensive, community based Intensive Treatment and Key Working services in Kent.  Each centre has a limited number of places available for individuals experiencing difficulties with substance use.

Making LunchThe programmes are designed to address various aspects of each client's life and to encourage awareness and understanding of the difficulties associated with substance use. 

The programme aims to enable clients to improve their health, increase their confidence and make changes to their lifestyle through individual care plans and agreed goals.

Our Horizon service in Sittingbourne now hosts a Needle Exchange and Harm Reduction Service.

Clients joining Horizon are given a Guide to Day Programmes which outlines the expectations and responsibilities of KCA and the client.

Service users are also encouraged to express themselves through gardening, art, music and poetry and examples of these can be seen on the Service User Self Expression page
