Roles within KCA

KCA staff come from a diverse range of backgrounds - soldier, engineer, nurse, administrator, social worker, service users - so there is no set pathway into working with us.

Our shared values, range of experiences and tolerance of difference are what bring us together and form the background against which we work.

Neither previous substance misuse or criminal activity nor past or current involvement in substance misuse treament are barriers to working with KCA.  However, as we work closely with vulnerable people, most of our staff and volunteers need to have a current enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check.

In the pages below, we've tried to describe the work each team does and what sort of people we look for to do it.
