Targetted Prevention
KCA is commissioned to deliver targetted prevention work to vulnerable young people. This includes young people who may be offending, are truanting from school, or are looked after by the local authority.
We offer a number of group work interventions, focussing on improving young people's knowledge of substances, harm reduction advice and information and exploring strategies around behaviour change.
In addition, we work closely with other services supporting young people such as Sexual Health services, Youth Offending Teams and local Children's Services.
