The Sunlight Project
The Sunlight Project works with small groups of young people (aged from 7 to 13) affected by parental substance misuse. The Project aims to give children and young people some understanding of their parents' misuse and the opportunity to develop and identify their own coping strategies and support networks.
The groups are delivered in a number of venues, including schools and family centres.
Children are given the opportunity to learn new skills and develop new talents while the work focusses on building self-esteem and confidence.
