Training

KCA provides training specific to organisational requirements in order to facilitate continued professional development.  We have developed a comprehensive training portfolio that covers a range of modules specific to those with a professional interest in the issues of substance misuse.

KCA's training is consistent with DANOS units and is OCN accredited to level 3.

KCA will

  • develop training programmes specific to organisational requirements anywhere in the UK
  • assist in identifying training needs
  • provide training from basic to advanced levels
  • provide certificated and accredited training in the substance misuse field
  • monitor and evaluate the effect of training

Upcoming Training

Under the Influence: Exploring the links between young people's use of drugs, alcohol and early sexual activity.

This training is aimed at all professionals working with young people in Kent.

The training has been commissioned by the Kent Teenage Pregnancy Partnership and has been delivered and developed in partnership between the Training and Development Team, Eastern and Coastal PCT and KCA (UK).
