Finance Manager 

£30,851 - £38,042 per annum • 37 hours per week

Based Faversham

An opportunity has arisen for a hands on, pro-active Finance Manager to assume the day-to-day management of a busy finance team within an expanding not-for-profit organisation.  Reporting to the Assistant Director of Finance, you will be a motivated person with a strong analytical and commercial approach, to ensure focused and effective financial management and controls operate across the finance function.

You will be responsible for line managing up to eight staff and will need significant experience of line management.  You will have a recognised accounting qualification and be able to demonstrate a knowledge of financial systems. In addition, you will possess excellent interpersonal skills, be highly computer literate and have a ‘can-do' attitude.

The demands and high workload of this position require a highly organised person who can prioritise their work effectively. You will equally be able to work to a high standard when under pressure, remaining calm and delivering the required work to deadlines.

Operating in the drug and alcohol, and mental health sectors, KCA (UK) provides a wide range of high quality and innovative specialist services for adults and young people.  The organisation provides services from over thirty locations across London and the South East, employs approximately 500 paid staff and has an annual income exceeding £20 million.

For each of the following posts you will need extensive knowledge of the substance misuse and mental health fields, or a closely related health/social welfare sector and an in-depth understanding of commissioning requirements. You will have an ability to work independently and imaginatively, as well as contributing and collaborating effectively within a cohesive management structure.

Both of the following post are 37.5 hours per week, carry an Essential Car User Allowance of up to £1,239 per annum and are based in Kent or London.

Director of Development and Marketing

Negotiable salary • Ref 875

In this new senior post, you will have a lead responsibility for taking KCA (UK) into the next phase of its service expansion and for promoting the organisation's ethos and achievements.  With the responsibility for actively seeking new contracts and establishing new services in line with KCA's strategic development plan, you will develop links with the range of external stakeholders, the general public and the media.

You should be able to demonstrate experience of inter-agency working at a senior level and of relevant commissioning structures and processes, and successful large scale contract acquisition, service set up and delivery.  You will be educated to degree level, together with an appropriate professional/managerial qualification, ideally an MBA.

Development Manager within Substance Misuse or Mental Health

£38,042 starting salary per annum • Ref: 876

You are an experienced professional from within the substance misuse or mental health sector, educated to degree level and with a strong track record of communications related work.

In addition to your specialist knowledge and experience, your excellent written abilities will be supported by good attention to detail and time management.  Also, you must be able to travel widely.

Family Intervention Worker (FIP)

£21,519 - £25,472 per annum  • Based Sittingbourne and Thanet  • Ref 881

Both posts are on a fixed term contract from 1 March 2012 to 31 August 2012 and carry an Essential Car User Allowance of up to £1,239

 

Senior Family InterventionWorker (FIP)

£23,708 - £27,849 per annum  • Based Sittingbourne  • Ref 882

You will be par t of an exciting project using the FIP approach to work with families in the community and par t of a process which identifies families, and co-ordinates multi-agency intervention. Your role will be challenging, you will
be addressing needs such as substance misuse or worklessness and will assist the families in accessing the appropriate services and develop focused action plans with an overall aim of integrating families into the community.

You should have a flexible approach, substance misuse experience and an awareness of CAF and Safeguarding.With a professional qualification in a relevant discipline, you will be able to demonstrate a high level of experience working with families with complex needs.

For the senior post, you will have line management responsibility for a team of FIP workers and be required to contribute to the promotion and development of the FIP project, record and collate data.

Clinical Services Manager

£30,851 - £39,855 per annum, plus £3,299 London Weighting

Based Wandsworth

Managing an experienced team of nurses and other professionals, you will be responsible for ensuring the service meets the highest standards of practice and exceeds performance targets whilst ensuring clinical safety at all times.

You will establish a positive high profile forWandswor th IDAS with commissioning bodies and partnership organisations in the borough, as well as proactively seeking development opportunities.

You must be an experienced manager with outstanding performance management skills and have a proven ability to communicate and influence effectively with a broad range of people. A registered nurse, you will have significant management experience in the substance misuse sector.

High Intensity Therapist (Ref 892)

Senior High Intensity Therapist (Ref 893)

Salary: £30,460 - £40,157 (Band 7 Agenda for Change)  

Both posts carry An Essential Car User Allowance up to £1,239 plus £1,758 London Weighting

Base: Havering

Hours: Part time and full time will be considered,

We require qualified High Intensity Therapists and a Senior High Intensity Therapist to join our Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) service within the PTP team in Havering. You will be providing high intensity interventions for a range of common mental health problems.

You will be highly experienced in delivering CBT and we particularly welcome applicants who have experience in other NICE recommended interventions such as EMDR, IPT, (Behavioural) Couples Therapy for depression etc. on a 1:1 or group basis, in line with the Skills for Health Psychological Competencies Maps.  You will have BABCP accreditation, or be eligible to apply for this.

For the Senior High Intensity Therapist post you will be trained in the provision of Clinical Supervision or be eligible and able to attend Supervision Training. 

Full range of skills and competencies as laid out in the competence framework for CBT (Roth and Pilling 2007) is essential.
