Trainee High Intensity Therapists
Salary: £25,472 - £34,189 Agenda for Change Band 6, progressing to £30,460 - £40,157 Band 7 on successful completion of IAPT training.
Essential Car User Allowance up to £1,239 per annum
37.5 hours per week (evenings and Saturdays may be required)
Based in Thanet (two posts) and potentially one in Ashford
Are you an experience mental health professional? Are you ready for a new challenge? Would you like to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a stepped care service? Are you committed to improving access to psychological therapies for people with depression and anxiety disorders? Do you have a strong interest in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)?
If you answered yes to these questions then we would welcome your application for the post of Trainee High Intensity Therapist working in KCA's IAPT service. In their first year, successful candidates will spend an average of two days per week studying at Canterbury Christ Church University - Salomons campus - and three days per week applying their new skills in the workplace. Flexible working will be considered from year two.
On successful completion of the training year, Trainee High Intensity Therapists will automatically progress to a Band 7 High Intensity Therapist post.

Administrative Assistant
£16,830 - £19,126 pro rata

Based Faversham
You will provide an excellent administrative and secretarial service to the PTP team, so you will need proficiency in copy typing, minute-taking and data in-putting, as well as experience of working independently. A sound understanding and experience of using a range of computer applications, including Microsoft Access and Excel, are required. An understanding of statistics and basic data analysis is desirable, although a willingness to learn would be acceptable. You will need to be able to respond to people in a professional manner and have good communication skills.

PSYCHOLOGICAL THERAPIST
£21,519– £27,849 (SCP 25 – 33) pro rota

Based in Canterbury & Coastal
KCA provides a wide range of high quality, innovative primary care mental health services. We require experienced psychological therapists to work with adult clients in our well established service providing short term therapy within GP practices. Based in Faversham, the number of sessions and available working days will be negotiated to meet the needs of the contracted service and will include some evening work. We provide a strong departmental framework with regular clinical supervision, line management, monthly team meetings, and effective administration. Applicants should be qualified to a minimum of Diploma level. Knowledge and skills in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, EMDR, Interpersonal Therapy and Couple Work is highly desirable and you should be eligible for either BACP/BABCP accreditation or UKCP registration.
