Working in the Data Team
As KCA receives funding from the public purse, it is important that our work is clearly evidenced to our service commissioners and to Government. Working to a rigid timetable around the submission of monthly reports, the team ensures that the services we provide are accurately recorded by verifying and analysing the data submitted from service centres.
The Team are also the first point of call for Managers who need information on data for internal audit and performance management reasons, or who need to prepare 'spot' report for commissioners.
Responding to these questions as efficiently as possibly and working to tight timescales can be a challenging task and it helps that many staff have had a grounding in working in front line services or in data management before joining the Data Team.
