For young people
If you're worried about drugs or alcohol, or about someone else using drugs or alcohol...
... you can contact us directly or, if you prefer, you can ask a relative or someone you trust to contact us on your behalf.
We'll be able to come and meet you at a venue of your choice - at your school, youth club or Connexions office.
We can provide one to one free and confidential advice and information about alcohol and drugs. You can talk to us if you're worried about your friends using drugs or alcohol or if you think you're being pressured into using them yourself. We won't tell you what to do, but we will help you explore your choices and, if you want, to support you in making changes in your use of substances.
We recognise the difficulty you may be experiencing - pressures from school or family can mean that you might be using drugs or alcohol to escape. We can help you explore your concerns and find different ways to cope.
The person you will see has lots of experience in helping young people and knows a lot about drugs and alcohol and their effects. They won't judge you or criticise you - they will advise you on healthier and safer options and the choices that are available to you.
Using drugs and alcohol can affect your life in lots of different ways. Depending on what help you might need, here are links to some useful websites
